Our Purpose - Learn to Live, Not Just Study.

Preparing Young Children for Jobs, Business, Family and a Meaningful Life.

1. The First Drawback

The Problem: Degree Is Of No Use Without Knowledge of Applications

After hiring thousands of graduates over the years, we have realized a major gap in India’s education system. Millions of students lack the practical ability to apply what they have learned in school or college. For instance, in today’s job market, basic skills such as working on MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel) and managing emails are essential for almost every profession.
These subjects are indeed part of the curriculum in most schools and colleges. However, during job interviews, we often hear applicants say, “We know about these applications, but we don’t know how to use them.” This clearly shows that while educational institutions teach these topics theoretically and take some practical tests, they rarely focus on real-world application which the students should always remember.

PLS Solution: Application of skills is part of life

At Practical Learning School (PLS), we don’t just teach theories. We show students how to use them in real life. From MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to Email, our students learn these tools through daily, hands-on practice integrated into their routine learning and activities. Using these applications becomes as natural and effortless as using a mobile phone, a TV remote or riding a bike. They know how these applications work, because they’ve experienced it firsthand. There’s nothing to memorize, and nothing to forget later, it simply becomes a part of their everyday life.

2. Learning is Easy, Fun & Joyful

The Problem: Parents & Teachers force Children to Learn (even without understanding)

The biggest problem in India and in many parts of the world, is that children are pressured to score marks rather than to truly learn. They are expected to study subjects by any means possible and reproduce them in exams just to achieve high scores. This constant pressure forces students to learn out of fear, not curiosity. Ironically, they study the same topics for unit tests, quarterly exams, and annual exams only to forget them soon after. The reason is simple: they never understood the concepts; they merely memorized them.
Most schools still rely on rote (memorization) learning. They explain a topic in class, then ask students to rewrite it as homework, and later make them repeat it multiple times for various reasons, all in the hope that repetition will help them remember.

PLS Solution: Learning is Simple & Fun

We believe that learning any subject can be incredibly simple, there’s nothing that needs to be memorized. When a child’s mind is trained to truly understand concepts rather than just read them, they can grasp an entire subject within 1 to 7 days. Yes, the same subject that schools teach over a year, or colleges teach over a semester, can be learned in just a week and remembered for life.

3. Focus on Brain, Not on Books

The Problem: The kid is not learning and has no interest in studying

Research & Learning is a natural instinct of children. If your kid is not focusing on learning, then there is some serious problem with the approach of teaching. Every kid needs a different approach to understanding things. But unfortunately, schools follow the same standard formula for all kids because of which kids lack focus and interest. Schools want students to just learn and answer. They never care about what the kids have understood about the topic. Unfortunately, this thing happens in 100% of the schools in India. But not at Practical Learning School (PLS)

PLS Solution: We make your kids brain calm, focused and analytical

Practical Learning School (PLS) focuses on developing the minds of children, not just filling their books. We nurture calmness, focus, self-research, and analytical thinking. Empowering children to learn independently, with minimal external help. This approach builds their inner ability to differentiate between right and wrong, fostering wisdom and confidence. Through this method, children learn joyfully, understand concepts deeply, and remember them for life without the need to memorize.
